Couch Potato TV Workout

Are you guilty of watching TV for hours at a time? I am. This is a simple routine that takes the guilt away.

  1. Pick at least three bodyweight exercises. For example: push-ups, sit-ups, & squats
  2. Watch TV.
  3. First commercial:
  4. Choose one of the three exercises and do as may repetitions as possible.

b.When you can no longer execute repetitions in good form, immediately start walking in place.

  1. Stop walking when your program resumes.
  2. (I stand an watch the TV)
  3. Second Commercial: Repeat step three with another exercise.
  4. Third Commercial: Repeat step three with your third exercise.
  5. Continue the cycle until you have had enough or until your program is over.
  6. Consult with your physician before taking on any exercise regime.
  7. You should know your limitations.
  8. Stay Healthy!
